Sometimes a business requires frequent changes on their menu boards. Ice Cream shops, in particular, often need a menu that can be changed daily or weekly to reflect specialty or seasonal flavors. Here are several photos showing how we handle this dilemma. With these jobs, we opted to print the ‘constant’ flavors directly onto the board and make the ‘changeable’ flavors separate layers that are easy to put on and off with Velcro. As you can see the effect is nearly seamless and quite attractive.
Note, the top flavors, ie vanilla, swirl, chocolate are printed directly onto the board while the lower flavors, ie strawberry, cheesecake etc are removable/changeable strips. When we quote a price on the flavor boards, some flavor strips are included but others are an additional charge of $18 each. You can always opt to add more at a later time.
The menu with the changeable flavors is on the far wall. Sadly we neglected to get a better closeup photo. Next time you’ve spent the day at Dorney Park in Allentown, stop in for a sundae at Ice Cream World directly across the street.
This super adorable retro design will soon be going to Jerry’s Dairy Freezer Hot Dogs & Ice Cream. The iconic must-try in Indiana. The ovals and all the flavors to the right will be changeable to promote their daily specials.
